 The Roses Theatre

Charlton Networks is delighted to announce that it is now the Headline Sponsor of The Roses Theatre 'Business Patron Scheme'.

The Roses Theatre is a registered charity based in Tewkesbury, and is a fantastic asset to the local area providing a wide range of arts and cultural events, including; live performances, film showings, exhibitions and festivals. In addition to this, it works closely with the local community through its ‘Take Part’ programme that provides an array of affordable creative workshops for all ages. The Roses is also a landmark building in the town, and in celebration of its 40th birthday it underwent a major renovation. The result is that it’s now the ‘go-to destination’ in the area, with the new coffee bar, foyer and façade amongst just some of the changes making the visitor experience an even more enjoyable one.

As a Business Patron, Charlton Networks hopes to help the Roses increase the venue’s profile through reciprocal publicity and networking. In addition to this, we simply want to show our resounding support for such a wonderful local asset, and we feel privileged to be able to say we are now part of The Roses’ fifth decade.

Business in Gloucestershire Golf Society

Charlton Networks supports a variety of Gloucestershire based charities through its involvement in the creation and activities of the BIG Golf Society.

BIG Golf

The Business In Gloucestershire (BIG) Golf Society was formed in 2009 by local businessmen Richard Perry (Charlton Networks), Paul Morton (Lodders) and Ian Eggleton (Evans Jones). The main aims of the BIG Golf Society are twofold:

  • To enable business people in and around Gloucestershire to meet and network through their mutual enjoyment of golf.
  • To raise money for local charities through the activities of the society, thereby putting something back into the Gloucestershire community.

Since the inception of the BIG Golf Society it has been involved in the organisation of a variety of charity events, so far raising in excess of £25,000 for local charities of every description.
