The event will take place at 6pm on Monday 23rd November and is free to both members and guests of the IOD and directions can be found at www.isbourne.org
The evening will be a chance to hear from these two charities about the services they offer and how they operate.
About IT Schools for Africa
IT Schools Africa is a registered charity that collects old computers refurbishes them and distributes them to schools in Africa. In the last five years, the charity has sent over 20,000 computers to Africa, equipped 1,000 schools with IT labs, trained 650 teachers and provided an estimated 3,000,000 children with access to IT training. To continue its work, IT Schools Africa is seeking donations of old computers in working order.
