MINI CASE STUDY – London Borough of Bromley

Bromley is the largest London borough. Located in the south east of the capital and includes many towns (such as Beckenham, Orpington, West Wickham & Crystal Palace) and also more than thirty-five square miles of protected countryside, picturesque parks and woodlands. From bustling high streets to tranquil rural villages, Bromley is London's largest borough.

The IT Infrastructure of the borough is equally large and connects around 45 sites to the central administration centre at Bromley. Charlton Networks were asked to analyse, review and recommend the strategic approach for future network developments. The approach adopted involved monitoring and analysing traffic performance at all main points around the network, documenting and to reviewing the network set-up. A report was produced presented summarizing findings and providing costed designs for a number of alternative solutions.
