MINI CASE STUDY - Bournside School & Sixth Form Centre
Bournside School & Sixth Form College is a larger-than-average comprehensive school, situated on the outskirts of Cheltenham. The school has special status as a visual arts centre and is well respected within the area, enjoying a reputation for good results and Ofsted ratings.

The school comprises a large campus environment of around 40 buildings, more than 100 classrooms, and approximately 1800 students. The school was one of the first to adopt IT and, in particular, wireless technology to help improve the student learning experience and assist teaching staff. The original wireless infrastructure had been developed over time and started to present several technical and managerial problems.

Charlton Networks designed, installed and commissioned a single vendor wireless solution that removed many of these problems, enabling staff & students to use the IT facilities more fully.
