MINI CASE STUDY – The Canterbury Business Centre
At the beginning of 2005, Charlton Networks created The Canterbury Business Centre, a suite of 8 serviced offices spanning a building of almost 7000sq ft. The concept behind this project was to provide a single, easily managed, secure IT infrastructure capable of supporting voice, video and data for a multi-tenanted office environment. Charlton Networks chose a Cisco LAN infrastructure solution, based around Cisco Call Manager Express.
The IABM (International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers) is the international trade association that represents manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to the broadcasting and electronic media industries. As a tenant of The Canterbury Business Centre, the IABM have been at the Centre from its inception.
Roger Crumpton, Chief Executive Officer for IABM comments:
“We use the IT infrastructure each and every day at the Centre, and the system is always reliable, allowing us to get on and do our business. The IT technology doesn’t get in the way, it just delivers great performance and reliability. The on-going management from Charlton Networks is excellent, and their team are always responsive and knowledgeable.”
